Vibrations

For this new series of paintings, I aim to show how the artificial environment holds itself together on unstable ground. Specifically, the geography of the Bay Area with its many Victorian houses. The construction lines of the buildings are cut and interrupted by a textured surface. Ultimately, the figures persevere and retain their form, but are also molded and adapted to the terrain they are painted on.
