Why commission a painting?
If you’re looking for a painting that captures your favorite building, the character of your city, or the perfect artwork for that empty wall, a commission might do the job ;) All I need is a quick conversation with you to discuss the specific details you're looking for and we're good to go.
What can I commission?
You can commission cityscapes, architectural collages, or that one house you love. You can either provide me with your own photos of what you would like me to paint, or I can take reference photos.
How long will it take?
This depends a lot on the size of the painting and my workload. Smaller paintings can be completed and shipped within two weeks, while larger paintings may take over a month. I will do my best to accommodate tight schedules if requested.
What is the commission process like?
First, we discuss the subject, size, and other details of the painting. I’ll create a concept image/layout of what the painting will look like. You can either approve the design or request alterations. I'll then make the painting, and ship it to you once it is ready.
How much does a commission cost?
My commissions are priced based on size. The minimum size for a commission is 9x12in.
9x9in: $200
16x20: $300
18x24: $400
30x30: $600
Please inquire for prices for larger sizes.
50% of the cost is due prior to starting the painting process, and the remaining 50% is due upon completion of the painting, prior to shipping..
Additional costs/deposits may apply if you would like me to travel to a specific location to take reference photos, if you request additional revisions, etc.
